What is NexLeaders?

NexLeaders is HomeNex's student ambassador program, built for high schoolers and undergrads who want real experience, not busywork. You'll help shape how HomeNex shows up online, whether that's through content and social media or writing blog articles, all while gaining startup experience and seeing your work go live on Medium and our website.

This is our very first cohort. We're keeping it small on purpose, about 10 students across both tracks, so every person here gets real ownership over what they make, not just a title on a resume.

The Two Tracks

Choose the path that fits your strengths, or apply for both. Each track is a distinct role with its own focus and deliverables.

Social & Content Track

Shape HomeNex's voice across social platforms, turning ideas into posts our community actually wants to engage with, and helping more providers and households discover HomeNex where they already spend their time.

  • Execute our weekly content calendar with timely, on-brand posts and reels
  • Draft and publish social posts for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
  • Brainstorm campaign ideas and track what resonates with our audience
  • Collaborate with the team on launch moments and community highlights

Requirements

We keep the bar clear — if these fit, you're ready to apply.

  • High schoolers & undergrads

    Open to high school students and undergraduate college students who want real marketing experience.

  • About 4 hours a week

    Ability to commit roughly four hours per week throughout the cohort; consistent, not all-consuming.

  • Genuine motivation

    A real interest in contributing — not just padding a résumé, but shaping how HomeNex shows up online.
